Trueview Hartley Prescription Glasses are built for wearers who want a dependable full-metal frame with retro round lenses and a practical keyhole bridge. The design answers common optical issues such as heavy bridges, poor nose balance, shifting frames, and weak construction.

Each order includes the frame, precision-crafted 1.5 index lenses, a protective case, and a cleaning cloth. Buy New Specs dispatches your glasses across Ireland, whether you choose Black for a defined finish or Red for a stronger colour statement.

Why Choose Trueview Hartley Prescription Glasses?

  • Full metal construction gives the frame a sturdy base for daily wear, removal, and adjustment without bulky weight.
  • The keyhole-shaped bridge spreads load along the sides of the nose instead of concentrating pressure at one point.
  • Retro round lenses provide a balanced viewing area for reading, screen use, commuting, and movement.
  • Black and Red colour options give you a practical choice between a sharp neutral finish and a more noticeable profile.
  • The frame suits wearers comparing classic metal frame prescription glasses with lighter models that still need strong shape retention.

How Do Trueview Hartley Prescription Glasses Fit?

  • The keyhole bridge creates a shaped contact area that can reduce nasal fatigue during office hours, driving, or evening use.
  • Adjustable nose pads help centre the frame accurately, improving lens height, balance, and resistance to forward slip.
  • Lightweight temples control side pressure behind the ears while maintaining enough grip for stable movement.
  • The rounded lens profile supports even visual coverage without making the frame feel wide or awkward.

What Lens Options Are Available for This Frame?

We can prepare this frame with lenses matched to your prescription and daily use. If your main requirement is close-up clarity for books, forms, labels, menus, or desk tasks, prescription reading glasses can make the frame a practical tool for near work. For distance vision, the round lens geometry gives a clean viewing area for driving, walking, meetings, and movement.

For users who need more than one working distance, prescription varifocal glasses allow near, intermediate, and distance correction in one pair, while prescription bifocal glasses provide two defined zones for close and distance viewing. The rounded shape gives enough usable depth for practical lens placement without making the frame oversized.

Lens coatings improve performance in real conditions. For glare control, anti-glare prescription glasses are useful for night driving, office lighting, screens, and reflective indoor surfaces. If your day involves long hours on laptops, tablets, or phones, prescription glasses with blue light filter can be added for more comfortable screen use.

How Does This Model Support Everyday Use?

Trueview Hartley Prescription Glasses are designed to move between work, commuting, study, and casual wear without needing a different frame for every setting. For changing light conditions, prescription glasses that react to light can support outdoor movement and indoor transitions without requiring a separate pair for short trips outside.

Some wearers prefer the softer feel of plastic frame prescription glasses, especially where a thicker frame front is preferred. This model is different: we designed it for people who want the fine profile, structural firmness, and adjustable fitting points associated with metal frame prescription glasses. It is not intended to replace sports prescription glasses for high-impact activity, but it gives reliable coverage for daily movement, office tasks, driving, and weekend wear.

Buy New Specs supplies frames for different wearers, and this design can suit customers browsing both men’s prescription glasses and women’s prescription glasses where a round metal shape, keyhole bridge, and lightweight build are the main requirements. If you already own a suitable frame and need updated lenses, our reglazing prescription glasses service may help extend existing eyewear.

How to measure your glasses

The best guide for you is to look at your current spectacles. The measurements in millimeters can usually be found on the inside of the frame, on the arm or on the nose bridge. They will look something like this: (example) - 46-20-135

If the measurements are worn away then a mm ruler can be used to measure your old glasses.

1st number - Lens width: Related to your eye size, and typically in the range of 46 (small) to 56 (large) (where the lens is)

2nd number - Bridge width: This is where you nose sits. Typically this is between 15 and 20.

3rd number - Side Length: 130 (short), 135 (medium) and 140 (long) (from lens to the end piece of your ear) We don't quote this number as a high percentage of frames are size 135
